Waar gaat Journey to the Center of the Earth over?
Een Amerikaanse sciencefiction-animatieserie, bestaande uit 17 afleveringen van elk 30 minuten. Geproduceerd door Filmation in samenwerking met 20th Century Fox, werd het uitgezonden van 9 september 1967 tot 6 september 1969 op ABC Saturday Morning. Het bevatte de stem van Ted Knight als professor Lindenbrook. Het werd later vertoond in herhalingen op Cartoon Quest van Sci Fi Channel. Het lijkt erop dat het de film Journey to the Center of the Earth uit 1959 als uitgangspunt heeft genomen in plaats van de originele roman van Jules Verne, b.v. inclusief het karakter van graaf Saknussen en Gertrude de eend. Het verwijderde zich echter nog verder van de roman van Verne dan de film uit 1959.
